With the COVID-19 shutdown lasting until at least 19 August and the time required for any restart, the Winter Hockey season for 2020 is no longer possible. Some will want a total break from hockey but for others it only means we find other ways to enjoy hockey.

Hockey Victoria will provide details on how fees paid to HV may be refunded but this may take until late July before options are provided.

Fees paid to the Greensborough Hockey Club for the 2020 winter season will be refunded by the club if you send an email to with your bank details to — > treasurer@greensboroughhockeyclub.com.au

While we’re fortunate we have minimal expenses this year, we do have fixed costs like ground rental and loan repayment, and ground lighting. On the revenue side we will not have income from schools (ground rental), sponsorship and profits from the canteen.

If you can support a club run entirely by volunteers, we’d be grateful. You could

WE WILL SURVIVE: as result of past careful management of our finances we will survive and the new clubrooms will be built (completion date 21 February 2021).

WITH THE RETURN TO HOCKEY & NEW CLUB ROOMS SEASON 2021 WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER

AND as soon as it is safe, we will start a summer season at Plenty Park (more details to come).
